Lessons are provided by a New York State Certified Art Teacher with over 30 years experience teaching artistic vision to novice and advanced students.  JC has a BS in Art Education and MA in Art.

As a working artist JC has shown his art work in galleries and museums in the capitol district area as  well as creating work for numerous private and public agents for murals,  paintings, book illustrations including prints purchased by HBO.

Instruction to improve skills and broaden concepts  for Drawing, Watercolor, Acrylics ,Oils or other media is provided  over zoom or other social media.   

 An open, friendly approach to learning that fosters self esteem and  confidence to enhance student success is provided.

Art History and concepts are introduced as appropriate to content provided in student  work to promote greater historic and aesthetic awareness.

New to making art?    Basic "How To"  lessons  in line, shape,  design, composition , perspective drawing are available.
